rassbian in raspberry

Raspbian

树莓派最常用的系统为Raspbian,这是基于Debian的一套Linux系统。

本人使用的镜像版本为:
2020-05-27-raspios-buster-full-armhf.img

注意镜像文件名里包含的参数(在修改镜像源时会用到):
buster
armhf

转为树莓派定制的系统叫Raspbian,这是基于Debian的一套Linux系统

树莓派最常用的系统为Raspbian,这是基于Debian的一套Linux系统

Raspbian is a free operating system based on Debian optimized for the Raspberry Pi hardware.

Raspbian was created by a small, dedicated team of developers that are fans of the Raspberry Pi hardware

Raspbian is not affiliated with the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

Raspbian is run as its own open-source project by developers Peter Green and Mike Thompson and, though they work closely with and are supported by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, they are an independent entity.

Raspberry Pi OS images

A Raspbian image is a file that you can download onto an SD card which in turn can be used to boot your Raspberry Pi

2012

The initial build , optimized for best performance on the Raspberry Pi, was completed in June of 2012.

However, the first-party "Raspbian" OS image that users have been downloading from the Raspberry Pi Foundation is just one image of several that are built on the Raspbian core. Raspbian.org lists several other Raspbian-powered OS images compiled by other organizations, though most haven't been updated in years.

Raspberry Pi OS

Many operating systems are available for Raspberry Pi, including Raspberry Pi OS, our official supported operating system, and operating systems from other organisations.

Raspberry Pi OS 由树莓派的开发与维护机构 树莓派基金会 官方支持,并推荐用作树莓派的首选系统,其基于 Debian。

Raspberry Pi OS with desktop vs Raspberry Pi OS with desktop and recommended software vs Raspberry Pi OS Lite  64bit

Differences between Raspberry Pi OS, Lite, and Full
Raspberry Pi OS has always been available in 3 versions:

Lite: No desktop environment, terminal only.
Typically, to use it for a server, a robot, or any project where a monitor is not required.
Desktop (default): Desktop environment included, with a few basic apps.
If you need a desktop environment, but want to keep control of the programs installed.
It’s also recommended for older Raspberry Pi models.
Full: Desktop environment with all the recommended apps.
Get started directly, with everything pre-installed for you. The installed applications are validated by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and are available directly (desktop usage, programming, entertainment, etc.).

The installation methods shown in that table are ordered by, what I would characterize as, “management convenience”.

The first two installation methods include Supervisor which performs management tasks. For example, it makes it very easy to upgrade Home Assistant and to backup all configuration information. It also provides the Add-Ons ecosystem.

An Add-On is a curated companion application, distributed as a Docker container that has been customized to integrate with Home Assistant. You can browse the list of Add-Ons then select and configure a desired Add-On, even monitor the Add-On’s logs, all from the main UI. The first installation method (Home Assistant OS) extends this level of management convenience to the underlying operating system (so it too can be upgraded from the main UI).

You have used the Docker installation method which means you will need to manage software upgrades and install companion applications on your own. Naturally, you will also have to manage all operating system upgrades as well. Should you install Mosquitto MQTT Broker and wish to employ user accounts, these accounts are created and managed separately from Home Assistant.

In contrast, if you were to install the Mosquitto Add-On (when using either Home Assistant OS or Home Assistant Supervised), Mosquitto’s user accounts are the same as Home Assistant’s user accounts so they can be managed in Configuration > Users. That’s an example of the “management convenience” and “integration” I mentioned.

Hassbian…Linux OS(I think raspbian) with home Assistant in Virtual Environment.

HASS.io Resin OS with home Assistant in docker container.

Looking at the github it looks like HassOS is built on ResinOS
