天猫系和小米系就像是Android和iOS，前者开放混乱，后者封闭有序。天猫系优点是不会被"绑架"，缺点是目前还没有发展成体系，如果要做一套智能家居的话不建议选。

绿米（lumi）即深圳绿米联创科技有限公司，其自有产品的品牌为Aqara，给小米代工产品的品牌为米家。
绿米局域网通信协议就是一套API，用于对网关及其下属ZigBee子设备（传感器、控制器等）进行管理。绿米局域网通信协议有两个互不兼容的版本：
绿米局域网通信协议1.X，最新版本为1.1.1（2017.12.21）。
绿米局域网通信协议2.X，最新版本为2.0.1（2018.05.18）。
按照一般理解，1.X版本的协议，主要用于米家品牌的设备；而2.X版本的协议，主要用于Aqara品牌的设备。目前来说，这两个协议，其实差别并不大，所以PyXiaomiGateway同时提供了对这两个协议的支持。

Please note, there are two versions of the hub: v1 and v2. v1 can be used with Home Assistant without any problems, however, v2 might be less straight forward when it comes to enabling the local API, and might even require you to open up your device in order to do so. Xiaomi has suggested this is in the pipeline.

网关是智能家居的中枢，好像小米原先传感器也是绿米代工的？最后我选择了绿米，理由有三个：
1.绿米接入了苹果Homekit，很多时候用Siri控制比小爱方便很多。（感觉Siri的识别率和智能更高）
2.小米似乎已经把网关和传感器这一块交给绿米了，小米牌系列产品没有更新。
3.米家App里给绿米打了全屋智能定制的广告，看得出小米的态度。

So why are there two apps you might wonder? Well, before Aqara really came into its own as a brand, its parent company, Lumi United, was making devices for Xiaomi’s smart home brand – Mi or Mijia. This is why many of the sensors, and even the Mi and Aqara hubs look or behave very similarly. At that time, Aqara didn’t have its own app, and while they were beginning to make their own branded versions of the products they’d been making (and continue to make) for Mijia, they still needed Xiaomi’s own app if they were to be able to make the hub and child devices work.
Eventually, Aqara created the ‘Aqara Home‘ app in order to focus on the performance of the Aqara hub
